Nanjing Economic Delegation Arrived in Europe for Inviting Investment

On 11th local time, Mayor Ji Jianye and Wang Shouwen, standing member of CPC Nanjing Committee and vice-mayor lead a economic delegation to arrive in Munich, capital of Bavaria, Germany. They carried out trade communication and discussed cooperative programs further. On 11th and 12th, Ji Jianye had working discussion with Mr. Gutberlet, CEO of Bosch and Siemens Home Appliances Group and Mr. Hersinger, board director and CEO on industry of Simens respectively. Ma Jinsheng, consul general of Chinese consulate in Munich accompanied the delegation at the meeting.

Ji says, in the next step of cooperation, Nanjing hopes BSH to transfer more series of products to Nanjing manufacturing site and set up R&E center in Nanjing. At the same time, BSH may expedite business integration, setting up China Investment Company and making it the lead and headquarters for its development in China. Nanjing government gives active support to BSH s plan of entering internet shopping field. Ji hopes Siemens to further expand its investment in Nanjing and enhances cooperation in industrial automation, railway traffic automation and electrical automation.

Gutberlet and Hersinger express that, in a few years, Nanjing will be regarded as an important partner and a central city for its business development in China. The two parties will then consolidate and intensify mutually favorable cooperation. They hope the two parties will sign related cooperative agreement as soon as possible to drive the program into actual operation.
