Tickets for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games and Asian Para Games went on sale to the public in Dongguan on July 26.
The public can go to Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, or log on the official ticketing Web site of the Guangzhou 2010 Asian Games (tickets.gz2010.cn) to apply for the tickets. Each person can only submit a booking request, but all the four ceremonies can be applied for in one booking with fewer than two tickets for every ceremony.
A total of 5000 tickets for opening ceremony and another 5000 for closing ceremony will be available at a first come, first served basis. The ticket prices range from 1,600 RMB to 6,800 RMB.
The Guangzhou Organizing committee will also open the sale of 20000 Asian Para Games Opening and Closing ceremonies tickets on July 26. The ticket prices range from 50 RMB to 1,000 RMB.
The sales will come to an end on August 15. After that a drawing will be held to decide who will be able to get the tickets, and those not chosen will get their complete refund.
