On May 25th, 2009, sponsored by China Business Appraisal Association, together with Global Outsourcing Information , Global Services (USA), Outsource (UK) and other industry media, the Best Business Practice for Promoting International Service Outsourcing Development staged its grand prize awarding ceremony at the 2nd International Service Outsourcing Business Development Annual Conference. Businesses including Insigma Software Technical Lead Group, Capgemini China, Genpact Dalian were given the Y2009 Prize for Best Business Practice for Promoting International Service Outsourcing Development. This is the second time that Insigma has won the honor, indicating the firm has earned further recognition in service outsourcing area and is among the leading players in the industry.
Held in the beautiful, scenic city of Hangzhou, the 2nd International Service Outsourcing Business Development Annual Conference is being regarded by professionals as a grand gathering to open China s door to the service industry in the post-Olympic era. It attracted over 400 participants including CEOs and outsourcing experts from famous businesses of North America, Japan, Europe and India, as well as of China s Service Outsourcing Base cities and delegates from top Chinese outsourcing companies.
As an important item in the meeting s agenda, the appraisal of Best Business Practice for Promoting International Service Outsourcing aims at identifying and honoring a number of fast-developing international service outsourcing businesses and institutions with great potential for growth. During the appraisal, Hangzhou, thanks to its overall outstanding performance, was given the Prize for Best City for International Financial Service Outsourcing Delivery Center Development award.
