SUNY Student Delegation Visiting SWPU

From January 3rd to 9th, a group of special guests--8 students from the State University of New York (SUNY) paid a one-week visit to SWPU. During their staying, they attended the Chinese Language and Culture classes, talking about the college life, studies and interests with SWPU students, looking around the campus and visiting the history museum of SWPU, taking photos, learning Taiji and Chinese Calligraphy, enjoying Chinese tea, going shopping for Chinese handicraft, and visiting some Chinese historical museums and water irrigation system

SUNY delegation visiting Sichuan Province this time consists of 25 principals and teachers and 199 students, with 8 students visiting SWPU.
The program was originally suggested by the State Councilor Ms. Liu Yandong in April 2009, which is called Chinese Bridge - American College Students Winter Camp , which is one of the large-scaled educational exchange programs between China and the US.

After the earthquake in 2008, SUNY invited 150 students from the earthquake-stricken areas for a one-year free study at different colleges, SUNY, 7 students of SWPU joined the program.
