Dec 11th--On December 8th, Dr. Sue Balint, Director of the MBA program at WestminsterBusinessSchool, visited the MBA Education Center at GDUFS. She was warmly

received by leaders of the Center, including Director Meng Qingxuan and Executive Director Sun Jianjun. The two sides then held talks.

Director Meng first extended a warm welcome to the guest. He shared that under the promotion of President Zhong Weihe, GDUFS and University of Westminster has

established close connections, which has laid a favorable foundation for MBA program partnerships between the two sides.He also shared his expectation for further cooperation and resource sharing.

The two sides then exchanged ideas on international cooperation and development plans. They reached consensus on student exchange, cooperative research and mutual visits of

faculty, which will bring about common development and yield a win-win result.

Dr. Sue Balint mentioned that after Executive Director Sun Jianjun visited Westminster last August, a close relationship has been built between the two parties. She hopes that the MBA Education Center of GDUFS will hold an International MBA Workshop next June. It would be hosted by University of Westminster in Guangzhou. The workshop would

include lectures, enterprise visits, as well as social and cultural activities so that the British students can better understand China's economy and culture.

After the talks Dr. Sue Balint Paid a visit to the teaching facilities of the Center accompanied by Director Meng. She spoke highly of the advanced teaching concepts, excellent

faculty and students.
