Vice President Professor Zhang Li met Professor Cui Dashan of AmericanGovernorsStateUniversity on April 22.
Professor Zhang first expressed her warm welcome to Professor Cui and thanked him for his persistent effort for the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities. She said, she was very glad to find the two universities have established substantial cooperation on teaching staff exchanges and student exchanges. With the efforts for many years, the cooperation between the two universities has yielded heartening fruits. In the future, she hoped the two universities could further strengthen bilateral cooperation. Professor Zhang also invited leaders of GovernorsStateUniversity to GDUT for a visit at their convenience.
Professor Cui gave a detailed introduction of the cooperation between the two universities. He said, since the two sides signed the cooperation agreement, the leaders of both universities have paid great attention to the development of bilateral cooperative programs. The frequent communication between the two universities helped improve bilateral cooperation. He said the students of GDUT in GovernorsStateUniversity studied very hard, established Foreign Student Union and held rich Recreational Activities. They were very well thought of in the University. This was also a reason for the University s great attention to its cooperation with GDUT. He also invited Professor Zhang Li to visit GovernorsStateUniversity at her convenience.
