Delegation of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology of Korea Visits USTC

On the morning of December 8, 2009, Professor Moo Je Cho, president of the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology of Korea (UNIST), Dr. Yoon Kyoung Cho, dean of UNIST School of Nano-Biotechnology and Chemical Engineering, and Dr. Jaephil Cho, dean of UNIST School of Energy Engineering, visited USTC.

USTC President Hou Jianguo and Vice President Chen Chusheng met with the UNIST delegation, and President Hou extended a warm welcome on their visit. In their cordial conversation, both sides exchanged information about their institutions.

After the meeting, President Hou and Professor Moo Je Cho signed a memorandum of cooperation between USTC and UNIST.

The UNIST delegation also visited USTC's School of Life Sciences, Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at the Microscale, and National Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory.
