On March 19th and 20th, the China Parallel Session of Fifth World Water Forum hosted by Ministry of Water Resources (MWR) of China, and relevant parallel sessions hosted by International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) and Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research of China, were held in the main meeting hall of World Water Forum, Istanbul.
The themes are respectively: Risk Management of Water Infrastructure Projects Related to Mega Natural Disasters and Guarantee of Enough Equipment for Water Storage to Meet the Needs of Agriculture, Energy and Living. Mr. Chen Lei, Minister of MWR presented on the meeting and made a keynote speech.
