Panda Xing Bang s Memorial Volume Made Public for the First Time

Full time Japanese keeper showed Xing Bang s memorial volume to journalists.

The memorial volume which has wishes from Japanese visitors and portraits of Xing Bang was publicized to Chinese media at the Chengdu Panda Base on March 18^th. There were also hundreds of portraits drawn by visitors to Adventure World Park Zoo in Japan.

Xing Bang returned Chengdu from Japan with his Japanese keeper Norikatsu Yasuda and a vet Shu Ito on the 16^th of this month. Both the keeper and vet returned to Japan the following day. The keeper Norikatsu Yasuda, who was reluctant to part from Xing Bang, told many stories about Xing Bang in Japan to journalists. One thing I will never forget after having spent the last 2 years with Xing Bang is his preference for getting close with visitors and his fondness for TV interviews. It was pretty funny.

The Vet Shu Ito is confident about Xing Bang s health, who is currently quarantine . He said, I still hate having to leave Xing Bang but when I saw Xing Bang eating well in Chengdu and looking happy I felt much better.
