Delegation of Korea National Statistical Office Visited NBS

Mr. Xie Fuzhan, Commissioner of National Bureau of Statistics of China (NBS) interviewed No. 14th Delegation of Korea National Statistical Office (KNSO) headed by Mr. JE Jung Bon, Director-General, Statistical Policy Bureau of KNSO on May 15.

Mr. Xie Fuzhan pointed out that bilateral economic ties are very wide and growing closer on both sides, which need both statistics sector to strengthen mutual ties and cooperation. Mr. Xie recalled the friendly cooperation between KNSO and NBS in the recent years, and pointed out that the statistics exchanges on both sides promoted mutual understanding and upgrading.

Mr. JE Jung Bon introduced the preparations for Chiefs Meeting of Korea, Germany and China National Statistical Bureau to Mr. Xie Fuzhan, and best wishes to China 2008 Olympic Games a great success.
