The 11th China Economic Development Forum Briefing

During October 20~22, 2004, BNP Paribas-Peregrine held the 11th China Economic Development Forum in Kunming, Yunnan. The participants include the investors from around the globe, and the senior management of many renowned enterprises in China such as China Telecom, Ping an Insurance Company of China, Great Wall Automobile, etc.
Mr. Jia Hongxiang, General Manager of China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL), at the invitation, attended the forum and delivered a speech. General Manager Jia first introduced the brief conditions and development history of CSCL to the participants, then demonstrated the sustainable operating performance of our company and carried out the analysis, and finally introduced the future development strategy and target of the company.
At the post-speech free conversation and one-for-one face-to-face conference of the investment funds, other present China renowned enterprises and all investment managers (e.g., Fidelity-Patrick, Pheim AM, Wellington, etc.) shown their strong interest in CSCL and the interactions were heated. The managers from various investment funds at home and abroad asked General Manager Jia many issues of the concerns of various funds, covering the aspects such as operating environment, industry trend, corporate operating conditions, company strategy and future development, etc., and General Manager Jia answered their questions one after another.
