5688TEU Container Ship " Xin Fuzhou " Delivered Ahead of Time

On the afternoon of September 22, the delivery ceremony of 5688TEU container ship "Xin Fuzhou" was held in Donghua Scientific and Technological Building, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd.
According to the shipbuilding contract, "Xin Fuzhou" is scheduled to be delivered on March 31, 2005. But under the efforts of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., "Xin Fuzhou" was delivered half a year ahead of time, and put into the line of Far East to West bank of U.S.A.. On behalf of China Shipping Container Lines Co.,Ltd., Jia HongXiang, managing director of the company, presented a cheque of 1 million yuan to Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., as the premium and appreciation for delivering the ship ahead of time.

Sun Zhitang, Vice-president of China Shipping (Group) Company group, and Gu Baolong, President of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd., made speeches on the delivery ceremony. On behalf of China Shipping Container Lines Co.,Ltd., Li Xueqiang, Vice-president of the company, signed the delivery document with China Shipbuilding International Trade Co., Ltd. and Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding (Group) Co., Ltd..
