JAC Motors held the grand new car delivery ceremony in the largest city St. Paul of Brazil on March 18th 2011. There were 200 units new cars hand over to customers. And at that day, the 40 new 4s shops began to sell JAC cars around Brazil.
According to introduction, the launched cars are 1.4L sedan and hatchback that are mature products of JAC Motors. J3 (JAC A-class sedan) received the highest score in APEAL Index Ranking and the premium compact segment awarded by the Global Authoritative Auto Testing & Evaluating Organization J.D power in 2009. And the engine performance of JAC Motors is just behind Honda in the evaluation of Brazil Quality Inspection Organizations
JAC Distributor Sergio Habib said JAC Motors is a world-class auto manufacture and JAC cars has passed the strictly test of Brazil Quality Supervision Department as well as their technical staff.
Habib is one of the biggest distributors in Brazil who invested and established 38 JAC 4shops by himself. He pointed out that JAC not only has good quality, but also has its own style, which becomes popular in Brazil. During one week s trial sales, there were 200 units cars been sold just in one 4s shop.
In order to rapidly enhance the fame of JAC, Mr. Habib hired the Brazil biggest Globo News television famous variety show host Fausto Silva as the brand spokesman, and invited 40 media reporters for one month test driving. He said confidently: the sales target of this year is 40,000 units JAC cars and market shares will be nearly 2% .
An accountant Mr. Edson got the key at the ceremony. His wife and daughter sat in a red JAC car and said to a journalist cheerfully: this is our first new car, and we all like it very much for its long maintenance period, low price and full equipment compared with the same level car .
The general manager of JAC Motors Mr. An Jin said to correspondent from Xinhua News Agency: Brazil is the world s fourth largest auto market, and the demand of vehicles is increasing with its economy rapidly development and raise of residents income. Although Brazil hasn t its own auto industry, the market is mature and requirement of customers is very high.
Thus, JAC actively explore Brazil market will not only help expand the market scale and sales volume but also can compete with international famous brand, improving ourselves and building brand of JAC. Brazil distributor also hopes to establish a new Chinese famous brand though both sides joint efforts.
Mr. An expressed that JAC plans to sell 30,000 to35, 000 units in this year, and we will continue to launch new models in Brazil and expand our scale. What s more, we will establish plants in Brazil so as to make contribution to its economic development and employment.
