"Press Conference on Open and Secret Investigation on Service Quality 3.15 in China" was held by China Association for Quality Promotion, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of People's Republic of China in Beijing on March 13, 2008. The results were revealed about the service quality of all professions and trades in recent years, among which 15 enterprises had passed the strict investigation and were honored as the National Leading Enterprises on Service Quality. As the winner in air conditioning Products, Gree Electric Appliances was also the only awarded firm in the air-conditioning industry.
In the recent years, in order to improve the quality of service industry, a complete and systematic work of "open and secret investigation" on service quality has been carried out by China Association for Quality Promotion, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of P.R.China. This nationwide inspection covers 78 cities, 29 industries and 2339 enterprises, including common service, public service and after-sales service. According to the international standard of service and advanced experience, strict evaluation was put forward in various service aspects, ranging from service call, store service, on-site service, and complaint treating system to comprehensive service level.
