Donated One Million for Snowstorm-hit Provinces
The unprecedented snow havoc hit Southern China earlier, and reconstruction after the havoc is one of the most important projects for Chinese government. To help victims and support the reconstruction work in snow-hit provinces, Gree Electric Appliances donated one million RMB through Red Cross of Zhuhai City in order to send warm and care to people there.
Zhuang Pei, vice president of Gree Electric Appliances, said, Gree was always doing well on thanking the society, returning the society. This worst snowstorm in 50 years hit southern China caused huge losing. As one of the best traditional industrial enterprises in China, Gree had the obligation to support anti-snowstorm work and reconstruction after the storm. "We hope all circles in the society concerns people living in the snow-hit provinces and support the reconstruction by practical activity."
Gree Electric Appliances is always active in public commonweal. Till now, Gree had contributed more than 50 million RMB in fund and goods to support anti-flood, SARS, Indian Ocean Tsunami, Project Hope School, Needy Student Support activity, and drug fighting program etc..
