Gree obtains Guangdong Technology Standard Strategy Special Fund

Recently, Provincial Bureau of Quality and Supervision of Guangdong issued The Announcement about the Distribution of Guangdong Technological Standard Strategy Special Fund 2007. Gree Electric Appliance Inc. of Zhuhai has won a subsidy of 100,000 RMB, which will be transferred in short notice.

Guangdong Technological Standard Strategy Special Fund was initiated in 2006, subsidizing the key project of standardization held by public institutions and enterprises. This is also the first subsidy since the establishment of Management Measures of Guangdong Technological Standard Strategy Special Fund (trial implementation). So far, only three entities obtained this honor in Zhuhai City, among which Gree was also the only company in air conditioning industry in Guangdong Province.

In May last year, Zhuhai municipal government had issued The Outline of Implementation of Guangdong Technological Standard Strategy, carrying the standardization work forward to the strategy level. Gree company had soon obtained a special fund of 251,000 RMB. Till now, together with the subsidy granted by Guangdong technology standard strategy special fund, Gree company would carry out the project of standardization work in a large scale.
