Gree Attends the 103rd Canton Fair

Wang Yang applaud Gree for Its Way of Independent Innovation

The 103rd Canton Fair opened its veil in Guangzhou on April 15. As the world's largest air-conditioner manufacturer, Gree Electric Appliances had an area of two-floor 400 square meters for exhibition. The leading technology of independent innovation, complete residential & commercial product line had made Gree the spotlight among its counterparts on the fair. It also attracted a great number of foreign air conditioner buyers.

Soon after the opening of the fair, Wang Yang, member of the standing committee of Political Bureau of CCCPC, secretary of Guangdong Provincial committee of the CPC, and Chen Deming, minister of Ministry of Commerce visited the booth of Gree Electric Appliance on 15^th morning. They learned about the detail functions and core technology of the exhibited products from the person in charge. Wang said that, he had just returned from a trip to the Gree headquarter and workshop, and it had deeply impressed him that the company always kept independent innovation as well as the spirit of energy conservation & environmental pollution and social responsibility. Gree was regarded as the excellent example of Chinese enterprises. Chen and other officials all showered praise on the new products and technology of Gree company.

It is reported that Canton Fair lasted 15 days and attracted 18,721 companies from home and abroad, with 3667 more companies participating in the Fair than last year. Both the number of participants and exhibition booth had exceeded any other fairs before.
