Dong Mingzhu Inspected Production Base in Hefei

As one of the four major production bases of Gree, Hefei production base has always attached great attention of the whole society. While attending The 2^nd China Management Training Summit Forum in Anhui, Dong Mingzhu, Vice Chairman of Board and president came to inspect the production base in Hehei, and offered suggestions for guidance on the base construction. After the tour, Dong Mingzhu moved to Anhui Gree sales company and visited the staff workers at the sales frontline.

On May 23 morning, accompanied by Wei Guoqiang, leader of preparation group of Hefei production base and Wang Xiaobing, general manager of Anhui sales company, regardless of aches in her legs and feet, Dong Mingzhu carried on to Hefei production base in Boyan industrial zone, high-tech district of Hefei, and visited the staff of construction there. In June, our Hefei production base would be put into use, we have to finish all the preparation work. Dong Mingzhu said.

Hefei production base lies in the Boyan industrial zone of high-tech district, covers an area of 1500 Mu(more than one million m²). With an investment of 500 million Yuan (about 73 million USD) for the First Phase construction, the base mainly produces home use conditioner, and the annual production is supposed to be 3,000,000 units. So far, the mould injection workshop, metal sheet workshop, assembly workshop as well as the condenser & evaporator workshop of the first phase construction has been completed, and the base is planned to put into commissioning in June. This would greatly satisfy the demand for Gree air conditioner in 6 provinces of Southeast China and the surrounding area, which is good for promoting its market competitiveness in the local market.

After visiting the matching plant, Dong came to the new Anhui sales company. She also visited the training halls with a capacity of 600, 200 and 300 people with great interest and encouraged the company to further develop its hardware facilities of training hall, and improve its training quality in a near future.
