---Gree Selected as the Top Brand for Air conditioner

Recently, the Ideal Brand of Chinese Consumers Survey 2008, jointly held by China Advertising Association of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Communication University of China, has been revealed. Gree finally triumphed over all the other air conditioner brands from home and abroad and was honored as the top ideal brand for Chinese consumers.

Being the sales winner three years in a row since 2005, as well as the only World Brand in Chinese air conditioning industry, Gree air conditioner has gained a great reputation among the industry and consumers for its creative technology and high product quality. With the self-owned brand product exported to 80 countries and regions around the world, Gree has become the second top air conditioner brand in countries like Brazil and Russia. It has built up a fine image of made in China product and gained a wide popularity among the high-end local market.

Gree now owns over 1500 patents from home and abroad, among which 300 items are invention patent. It has also broken the technology monopoly held by American and Japanese company in VRF system, centrifugal type commercial air conditioner, and sine-wave D.C. inverter technology; and some technologies such as ultra-low temperature heating gained a leading position in the world. This is regarded as the typical example of Chinese air conditioning enterprises growing with its own core technology. According to the sponsor, Gree really deserved its title and was the winner of three categories: common use brand, future purchase brand and ideal brand, becoming the top air conditioner brand for Chinese consumers.

Ideal Brand of Chinese Consumers Survey 2008 is the first nationwide brand survey in China. It was greatly supported by 12 organizations including All-China Journalists' Association, International Trade Economic Cooperation Institute, Ministry of Commerce, and associated by 36 universities around the nation such as Zhejiang University.
