Gree entered the Brazilian market in 1998. With constant exploration of the local market, its market share in Brazil is also increasing day by day. At present, Gree has over 500 exclusive stores and over 1000 after-sales service outlets in Brazil. Through years of efforts, Gree has become the second biggest air conditioning brand in Brazil in terms of market share and has also been named as "the most popular brand in Brazil".

This September witnessed robust sales of Gree air conditioning products. To ride the wave, further play out Gree's brand effect and satisfy consumers' demand for Gree air conditioning products, Gree's Brazilian distributor Frescar further expanded the exclusive stores and carried out comprehensive re-designing of the stores. Frescar began cooperation with Gree in 1999, at present it has three stores: Santana de Parnaiba, a San Paulo-based parent company, a subsidiary which is based in Bauru, San Paulo, and another subsidiary which is based in Londrina, a city north of Brazil. According to relevant person in charge, next year Frescar will further increase the number of its exclusive stores according to the sales condition, and three more subsidiaries will be established.
