Midea Attends Hometech Fair in Dubai

On May 14th to 16th, Midea Group attended the "International Fair for Hardware and Electric Appliances/Kitchenware" ("Hometech Fair") in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates. This was the second time for Midea Group to be present at the fair.
Within the exhibition stand of 90 square meters, Midea displayed all its lines of white domestic appliances, including air-conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, induction cookers, microwave ovens, dishwashers, electric fans, vacuum cleaners, drinking equipment, and kitchen ventilators.
The Hometech in Dubai is a major professional trade fair in the Middle East, convened in the World Trade Center of the UAE each spring. The display area for this year was 30,000 square meters in total. The fair attracted around 1,000 participant companies from 13 countries including China, Germany, Italy, Britain, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, and Turkey, in addition to 15,483 visitors from 32 countries and regions.
Mr. He Xiangjian, Board Chairman of Midea Group and other senior managers attended the fair for inspection and offering guidance. The chairman learned details about Midea's business in the Middle East from oversea marketing personnel and members of the company there. He pointed out that the Middle East is a region with tremendous market potential, and is another important and noteworthy market after Midea's success in Europe and America. He encouraged the staffs to explore the Middle East market with the spirit of business initiation, and to develop a practical and valid strategy, striving to make the sales amount for exportation in that market over 500 million dollars within 3 years.
