On 28th June, the ranking list of the Top 100 Enterprises in Guangdong Province 2009 was officially published, and Midea Group Limited ranked the fourth.
Affected by the financial crisis, the gross annual operating income of the enterprises in Guangdong Province on this ranking list is lower by 3.07% than the previous year. In 2008, the overall sales income of Midea Group reached up to RMB90 billion, increasing by 20% over the previous year, of which its income from export is US$3.8 billion, 20% up over the previous year. Midea maintains a steady growth and goes far beyond the average level of Guangdong Province.
The ranking list also shows that, GD Midea Electric Appliance Corporation ranks No.4 among the Top 50 Most Valuable Listed Companies to be Invested in Guangdong .
