Midea China Classic had already launched in mid October

On September 16, a press conference for the Midea China Classic was held at the Royal Orchid International Golf Club, Shunde, Guangdong the venue of this golf event. It is learned that the event will kick off in mid October, with a total prize of 500,000 US dollars. 100 Asian Tour players will participate, including the top 40 ranking pros from the China Golf Association. Liang Wenchong the top prize winner of the 2007 Asian Tour and Zhang Lianwei China s chief pro have been confirmed to participate. Players who are already qualified for the Asian Tour, such as Shang Lei and Wu Ashun, will also participate, increasing the number of Chinese players to 45.
