Midea residential air-conditioning global distributors meeting was successfully held in Hyatt Regency Hangzhou on September 6, 2008. More than 200 Midea residential air conditioner distributors and partners from all over the world attended the meeting.
The theme of the meeting is beyond your expectation . At the meeting, Mr. Fang Hongbo, CEO of Midea Air-conditioning & Refrigeration Group and Mr. Cen Jiang, CEO of Midea Residential Air-conditioning International Division made excellent report respectively, reviewing the course that Media Air-conditioning and the global distributors grow and create great successes side by side, introducing the business strategy of Midea Air-conditioning in 2009 sales year under the new global air conditioner market environment and defining the objective that in 2010, Midea will develop into a global consumption household appliances manufacturing group with annual sales revenue exceeding RMB 120 billion and rank among the world s top five white goods manufacturers.
In 2008, with the impact caused by price rise of raw materials and US subprime lending crisis in the whole world, the main air conditioner manufacturers in the world have suffered unprecedented business pressure. In face of such severe business environment, Midea Residential Air-conditioning International Division has relieved partial pressure caused by cost increase, maintained the competition advantages of the company, and further consolidated its leading position in air conditioner industry through various measures including internal organization structure adjustment, product technological innovation, control of purchase cost of raw materials, product process improvement and improvement of internal operation efficiency.
In 2008 sales year, Midea Residential Air-conditioning International Division has supplied 7,700 thousand set of air conditioners to the global market except China with an increase of 17%, ranking in the first place once again among Chinese manufacturers in respect of export of household air conditioners with industry leading average growth rate.
At the distributors meeting, Dr. Wu Guanghui, from research and development system introduced to the attendant customers totally-new product series of 2009 sales year. A series of high quality products meeting the needs of global environmental protection and energy efficiency including galaxy series DC variable-frequency air conditioners newly developed by Midea and high-tech products adopting air conditioner wind rotor and air duct technology initially created in the world further represent the strong technical research and development strength of Midea Group in household air conditioner products. The attendant customers showed great interest in Midea new products in 2009 sales year and great confidence in the product power and quality of Midea air conditioners.
On the basis of overall improvement of products, starting from 2009 sales year, Midea Residential Air-conditioning International Division will pay more attention to improving the customer satisfaction and response speed to the demands of the market and building rapid and high efficient customer service system and marketing system, persist on the operation concept of focusing on customer and executive force to ensure that all activities are carried out for the purpose of meeting the satisfaction of customers , comprehensively promote the marketing localization and global manufacturing layout, dedicate to improving order realization, product innovation and customer service abilities, consolidate and deepen customer relations and realize further growth of Midea Air-conditioning as well as mutual benefits, win-win and joint growth of the two cooperative parties.
