The general parts of the Chinese standards for inverter controllers, which Midea Air-conditioning Group has been a drafting party, will be completed by 2011, with the "Terminology Standard for Inverter Controllers for Household and Similar Purposes" to be finished in 2009 as the first standard, according to our latest information.
Mr. Wu Wenxin, Vice-president of Midea Residential Air-conditioning Technologies, remarks that the establishment of the standards means commonly accepted technical criteria for the industry of inverter controllers and related products in China, with great significance for the orderly development of the sector of inverter air-conditioners.
December 4, 2008 witnessed the inaugural meeting cum the first committee meeting of the Subcommittee on Inverted Controls of National Technical Committee on Household Automatic Controls of Standardization Administration of China, which Midea attended as a drafting party. Upon the discussion and approval by all the committee members, it was determined at the meeting that the general parts of the Chinese standards for inverter controllers shall include three documents, namely the "Terminology Standard for Inverter Controllers for Household and Similar Purposes", the "General Performance Requirements for Inverter Controllers for Household and Similar Purposes" and the "Testing Methods for Inverter Controllers for Household and Similar Purposes", all of which shall be completed by 2011, with the first one to be finished in 2009.
Although inverter household appliances appeared and became popular in Japan and other countries as early as in the 1980's, there is still no related standard, either at home or abroad, for inverter controllers as their important components.
In the industry of inverter air-conditioners nowadays, only the 180 sine wave direct-current inverter technology is the true and advanced solution with the best application, reliability and efficiency, in addition to lower energy consumption. As a drafting party of the Chinese standards for inverter controllers, Midea not only guarantees that all its inverter air-conditioners are manufactured with the 180 sine wave direct-current inverter technology, but also makes every effort to promote the technology to be a standard configuration in the industry, so that each consumer can enjoy inverter air-conditioning products which are the most advanced in the world.
Mr. Wu Wenxin also talks about the further development of Midea's inverter air-conditioners, saying that products with the direct-current inverter technology are making marvelous progress in China thanks to the promotional efforts by Midea, Daikin, Panasonic and many other international giants. And the year of 2008 witnessed active attention to and selection of inverter air-conditioners among consumers. To enhance the further development of inverter air-conditioners in China, manufacturers are required to provide consumers with greater confidence and more concrete benefits in terms of quality and services. In 2009, Midea's division of direct-current inverter air-conditioners will continue to focus on and work hard to improve its quality and services, trying to remain as the leader in the development of the sector in China.
