Completion of Production Base of Induction Cooker for Commercial Use

On 11th June, the grand Ceremony for Completion of Production Base of Midea Induction Cooker for Commercial Use was held at the Factory Building No.6 of the Induction Cooker Company of Living Appliance Group. Zhen Shaoqiang and Liu Lirui, President and Vice President of Living Appliance Group, together with other leaders attended the completion ceremony.
At the completion ceremony, the team leader for the Electric Cooker Project gave a brief review on the growth of the project team: after three years of exploration and practices, and through courageous innovation and reform, the Electric Cooker Project Team has realized integrative operations of research, production and sales, that is market oriented, customer based, and with the self-developed large power induction heating technology as the core competitiveness. The team has built a platform for sales of electric appliances with Midea characteristics for commercial use so as to be formally introduce its induction products to the commercial area, endeavor to offer integrated solutions of induction equipment for commercial use that are custom made for corporate and institutional clients, and dedicated to become one of the domestic first-class professional suppliers of induction appliances for commercial use.
It is pointed out by Chen Xiaoping, the General Manager of the Induction Cooker Company, that,with the deepening of integrated management and rectification efforts by the state for energy saving and emission reduction, green, energy-saving and environment-friendly products have gradually become the trend, and Midea meets the right time in introducing its induction cooker to the commercial area. The Induction Cooker Company demonstrates to the public its confidence and determination in exerting its full efforts to penetrate into the commercial area, aiming to achieve the sales target of RMB800 million to 1 billion in the next five years and build a leading brand in the commercial area of induction cooker.
It is learned that the production base of Midea induction cooker for commercial use covers an area of 5,000 square meters and has a complete operating system for design and production of kitchen equipment and integrated kitchen engineering design and assembly, and inside the production base there is a workshop for manufacturing stove housings, an area for manufacturing coils for commercial use, an area for making core units, and an area for stove assembly. The annual production capacity of the production base is over 50,000 sets of various types of electric appliances.
