Recently, a well-known domestic power generation equipment manufacturing company convened related technical experts in the industry, client units and staff from steel plants to implement project access and appraisal on TISCO developed high-grade cold-silicon steel for million-kilowatt-class generator sets. For this, TISCO attached great importance, Chai Zhiyong, deputy general mamager of the company participated the Appraisal Meeting, with his team.
With the activity "energy saving, cost reducing, environmental protection and emission reduction" continuously being pushed forward, in order to break down the foreign monopoly over electrical steel production and technology, in cooperation with the firm, TISCO conducted cold silicon steel production technology development and application property research for million-kilowatt generating units. After more than a year of coordination and cooperation among a number of departments, with many problems being solved, cold-rolled silicon steel to meet purpose of the million-kilowatt generator units was developed.
After Experts Committee s comprehensive, serious discussion, the company developed cold silicon products are completely in line with the technical requirements from the other party, and can replace imported products to be used in million-kilowatt-class generator manufacturing.
