On 1st February 2011, with contract value of EUR900 million, CHEC Ltd. signed Sudan New International Airport project in the Sudanese capital Khartoum. This project is composed of one runway for A380 takeoff and landing, terminal building, control tower, parking lot, connection road, air cargo terminal, aircraft maintenance hanger and auxiliary facilities.
After this project is completed, it will greatly enhance the degree of internationalisation of Khartoum, and also increase the impact CHEC Ltd. will have in Sudan s market.
