Jinan, June 29-- Over 30 tombs of Shang dynasty (B.C.1600~1046) were found in Danxinzhuang Ruins. Numerous cultural relics were found and a ruins cultural park is planned to be built.
Daxinzhuang Ruins is locates in east Jinan. Since 1950s, archaeologists have investigated and excavated in this place successively. It is mainly relics of Shang dynasty and preserves Longshan Culture and Yueshi Culture with an area of 300,000 square meters. In 1984, archaeological experts of Shandong University together with provincial and municipal cultural industry units excavated the relics and unearthed houses, tombs, wells as well as many cultural relics.
