A campaign calling on the staff to strive for excellence was launched by Jinan Railway Bureau in recent days, with the theme of "Guaranteeing Safety, Quality and Stability, while Boosting Development" (Three Gurantees and One Boost for short). All units of the Bureau, centering on the ultimate goal and key task of the whole bureau, laid down specific measures and simultaneously put a premium on the implementation thereof to ensure the realization of the expected effect through corporate efforts from the Party committee and the League committee of the Bureau, the labour union and the leading organization of the Bureau.
Since the campaign was launched, all the affiliated units, integrating themselves closely with individual practical situation and concentrating on the theme of Three Gurantees and One Boost, have underlined the key tasks and paid attention to the features in various phases. Scheme breakdown and specific measures have also been geared up in advance to best accomplish the campaign. Leaders of Jinan Station and Qingdao Station focused on the safety work in the front line and applied themselves to the on site management on the standardized fulfillment of responsibilities. Jinan Locomotive Depot, Liaocheng Train Running Operation and Inferior Stations Administration Section, and Jinan Conductors Sections demanded that all CPC members should manage the effect of "Zero Error; Zero Defect; Zero Breakdown" to display a vanguard and exemplary role. Zibo Rail Lines Facilities Maintenance Section has been bending their mind to enhancing work style of the cadres. Party leaders and administrative officials took the form of aboard inspection, on-spot checking and patrolling on foot to examine every workshop, station and large freight field within the jurisdiction of the Section, working and living together with the workers.
What's more, the Bureau cared for the lives of the staff and exerted its utmost to clear channels for public opinion so as to know their thinking timely through the interactive platform of LANs and cell phone messages, trying to combine the resolution of mind problems in daily life together with cracking practical problems at work. They specialized in the ideological education of the staff and encouraged them through representative congresses, CPC member sessions and job meetings to commit themselves to individual posts.
Special colomuns or programes of Three Gurantees and One Boost were established in Jinan Railway Daily, Jinan Railway Television Station and each LAN and internal publication of various unites to honour the excellent staff members and widely propagate their deeds, creating an aggressive atmosphere within the whole bureau of learning from the best workers, while competing with each other.
