Industrial Guiding Catalog for Wanjiang Released

The industrial guiding catalog for the Industrial Transfer Demonstration Zone in the Anhui Yangtze River(Wanjiang)City Belt was released recently, stipulating that more than 100 projects in eight industries will benefit from favorable policies.

The industries on the list include equipment manufacturing, raw materials, textiles, high technology, modern services, agriculture, infrastructure, environment protection and resource utilization.

A series of initiatives ranging from tax relief, land acquisition to environment evalutiaon will be launched to accelerate the growth of those sectors, according to officials with the Wanjiang office under the Anhui Development and Reform Commission.

The catalog requires that public organizations check the standard of vehicles and components has been improved. It also calls for a merger between auto corporations.

In the material sector, large or medium sized iron mines, high-strength auto sheets and shipbuilding plates, crude oil processing and refining integration bases are catalogued.

Grain, oil, meat, eggs, seafood and honey are also listed among the key items.

The province will level up the service industry, including financial and logistic services, and promote the development of transportation, energy, water conservancy and construction.

As for the field of hi-tech, bioengineering, electronical information and public safety technology will be centered on.

Carbon dioxide recycling in the dry-processing cement production line, and safe disposal of household garbage will take priority over all other environment and energy issues, according to the catalog.
