Zhang Baoshun, Secretary of CPC Anhui Provincial Committee and Governor of Anhui Provincial Government Wang Sanyun led delegation to inspect the city of Shenzhen in Guangdong province during October.27 to 28. Xiao Zhiheng, Member of the Standing Committee of Guangdong CPC Provincial Committee, Vice Governor, Wang Rong, Secretary of Shenzhen Municipal Party Committee and Xu Qin, Mayor of Shenzhen Municipal Government accompanied Anhui delegation during the inspection. The delegation paid a visit to Shenzhen High-tech Industrial Park, which is one of six pilot parks in China that aims to be built into world first-class ones. Covering merely 0.6 percent of total area of the city, the park achieved a industrial output of over 255 billion yuan, accounting for 16.47 percent of Shenzhen's aggregated industrial output, ahead of many other national-level hight-tech zones. They visited the exhibition hall of Huaqiang Cultural and Technological Group, which has already established a cultural industrial base in Wuhu city in Anhui province. Zhang Baoshun and Wang Sanyun voiced their hope that the group would further expand its business in Anhui, striving to develop homegrown cultural industry into the one with global influence. The delegation inspected other enterprises, including Tecent , BYD Automobile and Huawei Technologies. A working conference on independent innovation was held, during which, Zhang Baoshun said, compared with Shenzhen, Anhui had a long way to catch up, since it was still in the starting stage of independent innovation. Taking the opportunity of this inspection, Anhui would merit from Shenzhen in aspects of good methods, practices and experience, so as to speed up the building of innovative province in full swing and promote the transformation and rise. As one of the national-level innovation pilot cities, Shenzhen and Anhui, which, in itself has been selected as technological innovation pilot province and has different level innovating platforms, including national innovation pilot city of Hefei, Independent Innovation Pilot Zone Spanning Hefei, Wuhu and Bengbu, should strengthen bilateral communication and cooperation. An opening and sharing mechanism should be set up to promote the technological and scientific research and fruits conversion. The construction of Urban Belt along Anhui section of Yangtze river for Industrial Transfer, or more often known as Wanjiang Demonstration Zone can help to make more room for developed coastal regions such as Shenzhen to achieve a higher level growth. Anhui would insist on integrating both innovation and industrial transfer, providing more favorable policies, qualified service and environment, to draw clients from home and abroad including Shenzhen to invest in Anhui.
