Yesterday morning, the journalists of Shaoxing Evening News responsible for the reporting of the 6th World Choir Games(WCG) had registered in the Games press center at Yintai Hotel, Shaoxing City. During the Games, more than 300 journalists from home and abroad will come to the city for coverage.
The center has 4 functional areas for press release, comprehensive services, the reporters working and counseling spaces respectively. The center will provide various services for the press staff.
So far, over 180 reporters of more than 50 news agencies have registered. More journalists will come to the center in the following days and it is estimated that the total will reach 300 plus.
Over 80 volunteers reported for duty and were put into several groups. They will offer different help to the reporters, such as introducing the city, collecting information, coping with emergent situations and the like.
