Zhao Hongzhu, Secretary of CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee and Chairman of Standing Committee of the Provincial People s Congress, met with Dawood Farahi, president of Kean University from the U.S.
Zhao Hongzhu extended his welcome to the guests, saying that New Jersey, where Kean University is located, is the first sister state of Zhejiang Province in the U.S. and one of the earliest provincial-level sister cities of Zhejiang Province. A series of pragmatic communication and training between Zhejiang Province and Kean University has become the focus and highlight of the educational cooperation between Zhejiang and New Jersey. With a solid cooperative foundation already established between Zhejiang Province and Kean University, we are willing to exploit the cooperative potential, expand cooperative fields, promote mutual development, and achieve mutual benefit and a win-win result together with Kean University.
Farahi expressed his appreciation of the reception provided by Zhejiang province and introduced some assumptions about how to promote the cooperation between Kean university and Zhejiang Province.
