Shanghai-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway starts operation on 26th

It s learned from Shanghai Railway Administration that Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railway will make its debut operation on Oct. 26th according to the united procedures set by higher-level departments.

The operation time table and ticket prices for Shanghai-Hangzhou high-speed railway have so far been decided, with 80 pairs of motor train units arranged to operate on line and tickets ready to sell from 8 am Oct. 22th. Harmonious CRH380A, the new generation home-made high-speed motor train unit with a speed of 350 km/h will be put into operation on the Shanghai-Hangzhou High-Speed Railway and the fastest operation time between Hongqiao, Shanghai and Hangzhou will be 45 minutes.
