The total export value of Zhejiang Province in the first three quarters is 132.98 billion US dollars, up 38.1% over the same period last year, with the growth rate being 4.1 percentage points higher than that of the whole nation. The total export value ranks third, only next to Guangdong and Jiangsu. Compared with other main provinces and municipalities directly under the Central Government, the growth rate of Zhejiang export is only 1.5 percentage points lower than that of Jiangsu and 6.4, 2.6, 5.2 and 10.3 percentage points higher than that of Shanghai, Fujian, Shandong and Guangdong respectively.
The total export value of the province in September was 16.76 billion US dollars, with an increase of 30.0% over the year-ago period. The total export value of the single month began to rise with a month-on-month growth of 4.8%, a bounce back from August.
