Trade unions in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai care for migrant workers

The Forum on Promoting Workers Qualities, sponsored by the trade unions in Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and Shanghai, ended in Jinhua on November 24. The two-day forum received 72 papers themed on how trade unions can promote workers qualities.

The qualities of migrant workers received special attention, and priority should be given to the improvement of their skills, as these are directly related to their work decency and a dignified life. Trade unions in various localities play their role as big schools , providing free non-academic training for migrant workers, paying attention to the construction of their cultural life and innovating trade unions of migrant workers.
