The total area of commercial housing sold in 2010 was 48.10 million square meters, a decrease of 13.1% compared with that of the previous year. The sales of residential area decreased by 19.5%, while the sales of office buildings and buildings for commercial purposes continued to increase, with a growth rate of 35.5% and 27% respectively. In the meantime, the sales volume of commercial housing increased by 2.6%.
