Yesterday afternoon, Zhu Minyang, member of Municipal Party Standing Committee and Party Secretary of Jiangyin and other city leaders made inspection in Shanghai Jiaotong University.
Currently, Jiangyin was in critical stage of transformation. Promoting 445 Project for the development of newly emerging industries required technology and talents supports while re-constructing structure closely depended on talents. Yesterday afternoon, Jiangyin reached technology and talents cooperation framework agreement with Shanghai Jiaotong University, which promoted to reach higher level of transformed development by excellent resources of technology and talents. Lin Zhongqin, Executive Deputy Headmaster of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Xu Fei, Deputy Party Secretary of Party Committee and Jiangyin city leaders Zhu Minyang, Cai Yeming, Fei Ping and Zhang Jijian attended the signing ceremony.
Zhu Minyang, member of Municipal Party Standing Committee and Party Secretary of Jiangyin briefed the profile of social economy. Zhu said that nowadays, Jiangyin was making each effort to promote transformation, highlight the leading role of technology and talents, pace on high technology of traditional industries, big size of newly emerging industries, big steps on new emerging strategic industries, and promote 445 Project for new emerging industries. Shanghai Jiaotong University was first class university nationwide with advanced technology and talents resources, which was the necessary condition for Jiangyin s transformed development.
Zhu expressed that promoting the development of 445 Project should cooperate with key universities, like Shanghai Jiaotong University, take full advantage of technology and talents resources, and pace on the way of development. Zhu hoped that in next phase, the cooperation between Jiangyin and Shanghai Jiaotong University would make further and overall strategic cooperation by system and mechanism innovation , work on enterprise s leading role and start-up college of Jiangyin bases established by Shanghai Jiaotong University, overall carry out cooperation among industry, study and learn, pace on cooperated measures on grounds, step on industrialized steps on technology achievements reached by Shanghai Jiaotong University and promote social economy development to new stage.
Lin Zhongqin, Executive Deputy Headmaster of Shanghai Jiaotong University, thought that Jiangyin played the leading role in town-level economy and had strong background in manufacturing industry. In next phase, Shanghai Jiaotong University would make overall cooperation in technology and talents, promote transformed fruit of technology, nurture innovative talents and realize win-win results.
Both sides would play full role of technology and talents strengths of Shanghai Jiaotong University and industrial, environment and capital advantages of Jiangyin by close cooperation in talents, projects, and capital, pace on transformed and industrialization of technology achievements reached by Shanghai Jiaotong University, promote Jiangyin Talents Special District construction, and step on new emerging industries 445 Project . It was learnt that Shanghai Jiaotong University and Jiangyin city would co-build base of technology achievements, start-up college of Jiangyin bases, technology talents cooperation base, among which, start-up college of Jiangyin bases would rely on start-up college of Shanghai Jiaotong University, Three Creation platform of Jiangyin and key enterprises, create talent pool for attracting innovative talents and promote the construction of innovative city.
In the afternoon, the delegation led by Zhu also visited achievement exhibition and sand table of school layout plan.
