Tax Revenue Increases At Customs

In the first three quarters, the net tax revenue of Urumqi Customs was nearly 8.61 billion RMB, up by 62.66 percent year on year. It's a new record in history and topped the total of last year. It is expected that the net tax revenue this year will reach 10 billion RMB. It's believed that these are benefited from the State's good policies towards XJ's development and the continuous rising prices of energy and mineral products at international markets.

In the previous nine months, the total value of XJ's foreign trade was about 11.3 billion USD, increasing by 15.3 percent compared with the same period of last year.

In order to provide high efficient and convenient service to trade companies, Urumqi Customs put forward that Category-A ports are assigned to deal with resource and energy products import, and Category-B ports as distribution base for processing products export. Besides, the customs clearance mode will be consummated to provide convenience to import and export.

NIJIAT ABDUREXIT, DIRECTOR TARIFF SECTION OF URUMQI CUSTOMS:

" We will carry out the local declaration and port clearance. Moreover, we will promote the new methods such as online payment to do well the tax collection work."
