On the noon of April 10, Vice Governor Jing Junhai met with Lin Wenchang, president of the General Council of Taiwan All-China National Councilors Association, and his fellows at the New World Hotel in ancient city Xi an.
Jing Junhai welcomed the guests who came to Shaanxi to attend the Investment & Trade Forum for Cooperation between East & West China. He said that Shaanxi Province is in the period for rapid development of economy. It is speeding up the transformation of economic development method, greatly developing cultural and tourism industry, energy and chemical industry, high-tech industry, advanced manufacturing industry, trade, commerce and logistics industry as well as new emerging industry.
These bring new opportunities and business changes for enterprises including businessmen in Taiwan. Shaanxi will further expand the opening, attract global capitals, advanced technologies and talents, increase the increment and activate the deposit, and enlarge the aggregate. It is hoped that businessmen in Taiwan could grasp the opportunities of new round of western development, increase the investment in Shaanxi and realize mutual benefits.
Lin Wenchang extended thanks to hospitality of Shaanxi. He said that through the forum, many enterprises had determined to invest in Shaanxi. In the future, he will bring out its own function, promote Shaanxi province actively and further promote the exchange and cooperation between enterprises on both sides of Taiwan Strait.
