In the evening of July 22, vice governor of Shaanxi province Jing Junhai met the team led by Lin Bofeng, director-general of Taiwan Industry association.
Jing Junhai welcomed the team led by Lin Bofeng and briefly introduced Shannxi s economic and social development in recent years. Shaanxi is a province with rich mineral resources, strong scientific and educational capability and sound industrial basis. The role of Shaanxi in fields of energy and chemical industry, equipment manufacturing and high and new technologies cannot be neglected.
With low costs of agents of production such as land, resources and labor forces, increasingly complete logistic surroundings and strong conductive ability to surrounding areas, Shaanxi has distinctive advantages as an industrial transfer site. With the implementation of domestic demand expansion policy and the transformation of economic development mode, especially with the further pushing forward of a new round of West Development, Shaanxi will face a series of new opportunities that can accelerate its economic development and meet increasingly more commercial opportunities through cooperation with others.
Jing hoped that Taiwan compatriots would attach higher importance to Shaanxi, seize new opportunities, establish long-term cooperative ties and introduce more colleagues and friends from Taiwan to Shannxi. The cooperation between Shaanxi and Taiwan should have win-win results.
Lin Bofeng introduced the basic operation situation of Taiwan Industry Association to Jing. He highly praised the development of Shaanxi province and expressed his willingness in introducing Shaanxi to more entrepreneurs from Taiwan.
