The First CTU/JTU Cup Crossstrait Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest, participated by over 10 universities in the Chinese mainland and Taiwan Province, concluded with success at Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu last week.
The first contest was organized by Southwest Jiaotong University, with its sponsors including Southwest Jiaotong University, National Chiao Tung University, Xi an Jiaotong University,Shanghai Jiaotong UniverUniversity and Beijing Jiaotong University.It is intended to promote entrepreneurship and innovative abilities among young college students.
Thirty one teams from the participating institutions took part in contests in the fi elds of machinery and automation, IT, life sciences, energy, chemical industry and cultural industry. Southwest Jiaotong University won several important awards, including that for the Best Product Designs.
