Chengdu Eastern New Town Cultural and Creative Industry Comprehensive Function Zone has recently signed MOU with South Korea SK Cultural and Creative Industry Development Co., ltd in Chengdu. The two sides will join hands to construct cultural and creative industrial park in Chengdu.
Being the largest cultural and creative industrial park in Chengdu, Eastern New Town Cultural and Creative Industry Comprehensive Function Zone has a total area of 410,000 square kilometers, with Sha River in the west, Wuguiqiao section of Sichuan expressway and Chengluo Road in the north, the belt expressway in the east and the inner section of the third ring road of the old Chengyu Road and the south side of Chenglong Road in the south.
The overall orientation of the industrial park is to prioritize modern services, primarily cultural and creative industries, to construct urban commercial sub-center, and to engage in industries including ACG, creative design, artivists co-op, cultural relics collections, digital publishing and others.
With energy chemical industry and info-communication as the mainstay, South Korea SK Group listed the 86th in 500 tops of the world in 2008, with its cultural and creative industry occupying first place in the world.
