Documentary makers celebrate their great Guangdong-themed works in the year 2009 today (Dec 8) in Guangzhou. Lin Xiong, Standing Member and Director General of the Publicity Department of CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee, and Wang Danyan, Deputy Director General of State Administration of Radio, Film and Television, attended the event.
The event has received 107 documentary works from the local television stations and other provinces as well as Hong Kong and Taiwan. The works record Guangdong's changes in economic, cultural and other fields, telling hundreds of millions of TV audiences the real Guangdong today.
