New vigor to promote furniture industry

Technology Center of China Classical Furniture Town has been inaugurated at Julong International Antique Exhibition Center in Sanxiang Town.

The town has invested 91.7 million yuan to build an innovation and service center of classical furniture, combining research and development, production, display, market platform as a whole, promoting the transformation and upgrading of classical furniture industry through technological innovation, and strived to build classical furniture as the pillar industry in the town.

The center offers one-stop service to form a high-efficiency commercial system. To drive the development of classical furniture industry as well as other relevant industries, the center will further improve the investment climate in the southern part of Zhongshan.

Over the same period, Zhongshan Municipal Mahogany Furniture Industry Intellectual Property Federation is established in Dachong Town. 33 companies both from Dachong and Shaxi have joined the Federation. There are over 200 mahogany furniture enterprises at present, the output value of which was 1.554 billion yuan last year.
