Zhongshan ranks second in LED industry scale in Guangdong

Zhongshan ranked second in LED industry scale in Guangdong. The LED industry and relevant supporting industries achieved output value of 6.5 billion yuan with a growth of 30% last year. In addition, LED packaging enterprises kept increasing rapidly and the lighting products held a significant market share.

In order to make the industry bigger and stronger, Zhongshan will initiate Ten Science and Technology Projects in LED industry this year, giving priority to development and industrialization of key technology in LED industry by connecting province with city, and city with town, carrying out key demonstration projects and special programs, conducting researches on technology roadmap of LED industry, supporting research-industry cooperation in towns and enterprises and helping establish platforms for industrial generic technology.
