On 28th May, a group led by Lin Shaochun, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People Congress of Yanjiang, Weihong, deputy Party Secretary and Mayor of Yangjiang, came to Zhongshan to hold the promotion conference of investment of investment environment in Yangjiang. Party Secretary of Zhongshan Chen Genkai and Mayor Li Qihong attended the conference.
With competitive advantages, such as rich and inexpensive resources of land, labor power, water and electricity, convenient transportation, favorable ecological environment, established hardware and knife industrial clusters, and abundant resources of tourism development, Yangjiang is able to attract enterprises at home and abroad. Moreover, it has made a series of preferential policies in investment.
With a total area of 7.3 square kilometers and estimated investment of 8 billion yuan, the Zhongshan Torch (Yangxi) Industrial Park of Industry Transfer jointly established by Yangxi County and Zhongshan Torch Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone has officially introduced 27 projects with a total investment of 1 billion yuan, and 12 projects have been completed and put into operation. It will be one of the first demonstration parks of industry transfer in China.
In the promotion conference, 18 cooperation projects were signed with an investment of 2.05 billion yuan.
