More than 1,200 artists showcased Guangdong culture at Shanghai Expo during Guangdong Week from July 28 to August 1.
The event, entitled "Exciting Games, Green Guangdong", featured folk singing, dancing shows, acrobatics, lion dances, Cantonese Opera, Chaozhou Opera, fashion shows and other folk arts.
During the week, the Guangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee presented 10,000 Asian Games and Asian Para Games tickets to visitors and Shanghai citizens. Since the May 1 opening of the Shanghai Expo, the Guangdong Pavilion has attracted more than 2.2 million visitors.
