The Second phase of the Guangzhou-Zhuhai expressway opened to traffic on June 25. The expressway is expected to cut the travel time between Zhuhai and Guangzhou by half to only one hour. The Guangzhou-Zhuhai expressway is a key road, which will facilitate traffic between Guangzhou and the cities located along the west bank of the Pearl River, including Foshan, Zhongshan and Zhuhai.
